Existing facilities where a ragtag mix of buildings, kennels, exercise areas, even a pet cemetery on a lovely site with a significant amount of remnant native bush on the grounds.

Proposed new facilities to replace existing buildings.

Proposed new facilities to replace existing buildings.

With limited funds, it was a good strategy to consolidate new facilities around existing ones that were already in good condition. By not spreading new facilities out around the site infrastructure costs are reduced, quarantine areas are kept apart, the community can be engaged in a controlled area and the existing native landscape is less disturbed.

Master plan of the proposed site to be developed as funds arise.

Future community facilities including education/training, op-shop, café, and a memorial wall for deceased pets are located on and around the existing main thoroughfare. Maintenance and services were also expanded and located to make things easier for the volunteers.
